Coworking space

A large section of our mezzanine floor is dedicated for coworking. This space comprises of 20 hot desks and five fixed desks, each equipped with a generous working area and adjustable high-backed chairs. The area is enabled for fast WiFi. Access to our quiet and collaborative working areas is also available for those who wish to make a confidential telephone call, or meet with others. Coworkers have easy access to our kitchenette on the same floor, where free tea and coffee is available.

Desk@theD’s coworking space can be used by small teams, or by individuals. Our membership packages have been designed to suit different working styles and requirements. Meeting Space

People need space to meet for a variety of reasons: you might not have a meeting or training room of your own, you might all be coming from different places, you may not be based in Aberdeen – or you may simply prefer to get away from the confines of your own building.

Desk@theD has four break-out rooms that are suitable for meetings or training sessions of different sizes, plus a pod room which is great for one to ones.

Three of our meeting rooms are on the ground floor for ease of access and privacy, whilst the fourth is on our mezzanine.

Room 1

Our board room is located on the ground floor
Ideal for use by clubs, community groups or charities, who require a venue for board or committee meetings but can also be used for a variety of other purposes.
Room is equipped with a large table and eight chairs as standard. Extra chairs can be added as needed.

Up to 10 people
Our second meeting room is located on the ground floor. It can accommodate up to ten people. The room is ideal for smaller teams or sub-committees to meet but can also be used for training or other activities.

This intimate space is ideal for one-to-one interviews, appraisals or confidential meetings. It is also available for hire for those who wish to work, or make calls, without the distractions of an open-plan office.

Located on the mezzanine adjacent to our coworking space
Ideal for meetings, classroom-based training and more.

Catering can be provided, as well as flipcharts and other materials to support your meeting, workshop or training session. Simply get in touch to give us advance notice of your requirements.

Training space

On our ground floor, we have a large a multi-purpose facility that can be used for one-off or regular hires by groups or individuals. Over nine metres in length, and able to house up to 25 people, it is ideal for a variety of activities. From classroom-based training and workshops, team building, and conference events, to floor-based activities including pilates, yoga and other forms of exercise and fitness.

Can accommodate up to 30+ people. Located on ground floor. Approx. 9m in length. Ideal for clubs, workshops, conference events, various training and fitness or classes. Tables and chairs can be re-arranged as needed. Use of TV and flipchart available
